A $60 deposit holds your time and goes toward your total. The free call needs no deposit.

What’s included

Every session

  • An engineer in the room the whole time
  • Full backline: drums, bass, guitars, keys and mics
  • Time to talk through what’s next — what the song needs and what you want to walk away with

On request, free

  • A rough mix — a quick listening MP3 of your takes. For listening back and sharing, not a finished, release-ready mix.
  • A written quote for the work after the session
  • A one-page plan for the project

Quoted before it starts

  • Editing & mixing — $45/hr: comping, cleanup, tuning and a release-ready mix
  • Multitracks — $75/song: the takes we chose together, each instrument and voice as its own labeled file, lined up to start together and ready for any engineer to mix. AIFF or WAV for mixing, or MP3 for easy listening.

Nothing after the session starts without your OK — you always see the price first.

How booking works

  • Your booking is a reservation. It holds your time, and Stephen confirms every session personally. In the rare case the studio has to move or cancel a session, you’ll get your choice of a full refund or first pick of a new time.
  • Deposit: $60 for any studio session, applied to your total. The balance is due at the end of the session.
  • Cancelling or rescheduling: 72+ hours’ notice — full refund or reschedule. 24–72 hours — your deposit becomes studio credit for 60 days. Under 24 hours or no-show — the deposit is forfeited.
  • Getting here: 2025 McKinnon Avenue, Bayview. Free parking in the open lot right outside the entrance — look for the yellow posts. Call or text when you arrive and you’ll be met at the door. Directions & parking
